Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic is proud to partner with organizations in our community that support the well-being of both pets and people alike. By giving our time, resources, and skills to these organizations, we hope to create a stronger, more resilient community. Learn more about what we do and how you can get involved!
We aim to give as much of ourselves as possible to our community, so we spread the love around! Our team not only supports the humane society but philanthropic organizations, too. Check out some of the events we’ve been involved with, and in which we’re likely to participate again!
Boys & Girls Club of Elkhart County - Colors for Kids 5k
This color run’s proceeds benefitted the Boys & Girls Club. We’ve had several of our staff participate in the run over the years. In 2019, Dr. Anderson ran the race and placed 1st in her age division!
Food Bank for Northern Indiana – Donations Collection
In January 2020, we collected food donations for the Food Bank for Northern Indiana. With 13% of Indiana residents being food insecure, we were proud to help contribute to this wonderful cause!
Humane Society of St. Joseph County – Fundraising Events
We regularly participate in fundraising events put on by the Humane Society of St. Joseph County! In 2019, some of our staff ran in the Cinco de Miles 5k as well as formed a team for the Meow the 4th Trivia Night.
K9s for Warriors
K9s for Warriors rescues dogs and trains them as service dogs for veterans. We support this wonderful organization with monetary donations.
South Bend Medical Foundation – Blood Drive
We hosted a blood drive in January 2020 through the South Bend Medical Foundation to encourage our community to give the gift of life.
United Way of Elkhart County – Coat Drive
Before the winter season in November 2019, we collected winter coats to help kids keep warm in the winter. Our donated coats went to the United Way of Elkhart County, which distributed them to thankful families.
Willow Creek United Methodist Church – Back to School Block Party
In August 2019, some of our staff set up a table at the Back-to-School Block Party at Willow Creek United Methodist Church. We had such a blast, and so enjoyed supporting our community!
Elkhart Area Career Center – Employability Skills Panel
Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic was invited to participate in Elkhart Area Career Center’s Employability Skills Panel. Dr. Headley, Dr. Arnold, our RVT Caitlin, and our marketing coordinator Amanda all took part in the event, answering amazing questions from veterinary and agriculture students. This was a wonderful experience for us and we’re always excited to spark greater interest in the veterinary profession!
