Meet Our Team
Jennifer Anderson, DVM
Dr. Jennifer Anderson is originally from the Midwest, but went to high school in Boca Raton, FL where she was an avid volleyball player. She received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2005 from Purdue University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 from Purdue Univeristy. Go Boilers!
After graduation Dr. Anderson worked for a year in Georgia as a mixed animal veterinarian where she enjoyed working with large animals such as cattle and horses along with dogs and cats. After a year in the south she returned to the midwest where she did some relief work in the area for a year and then finally found her home at Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic in the fall of 2010. She is on the Potowatomi Zoological Board and is a member of Indiana Veterinary Association, Michiana Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practioners, and Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.
She has special interests in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and internal medicine.
Fun Fact: She has three spoiled rotten cats named Snickers, Kahlua, and Wrigley. Outside of the office she enjoys anything outdoors, such as gardening, hiking, biking, volleyball, golf and snowmobiling.
Richard Headley, DVM
Dr. Richard Headley is a native of the west side of South Bend, graduating from Washington High School in 1961. He went to Purdue and graduated from the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 1967. During veterinary school, he joined the US Army Reserves and went on active duty immediately after graduation. He served 25 months, mostly at Ft. Irwin, CA where he was Post Veterinarian, Public Health Officer, Wildlife Management Officer and operated the on post full service veterinary clinic. In addition he provided veterinary care for a US Marine stable in Barstow, CA. Since there was no large animal veterinarian within 100 miles of Barstow, Dr. Headley was given permission to operate an emergency large animal practice after duty hours during his assignment at Ft. Irwin.
After discharge he joined a private practice in Michigan where he stayed for 1 1\2 years, then bought the Lincolnway Veterinary Clinic in 1971 and operated the clinic until recently when he turned it over to Dr. Anderson.
Dr. Headley's medical interests are in general practice, but he enjoys orthopedic surgery , anesthesia, and pain management.
Outside of practice, he taught CPR to the general public under the auspices of the American Heart Association with support from the Mishawaka Kiwanis Club. His leadership in working with his team earned him Mishawaka Man of the Year honors in 1985.
Fun Fact: He enjoys golf, outdoor activities, reading, cooking and just relaxing. He has a very spoiled Chihuahua named Raisen that likes to share peanut butter with him every night.
Dr. Kelley Kulis
Dr. Kulis joined our team in May 2017. She was raised in Grand Rapids Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University in 2016 with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Kulis has a love for beef cows and has a mini farm which includes a horse, goats and chickens as well as 3 dogs and 2 cats.
She enjoys spending time with family & friends and eating her husbands cooking.
Regeina is currently team manager of customer care specialists and office manager. She started out as a veterinary assistant about 21 years ago. She enjoys working with and getting to know all the furry friends and their owners at Lincolnway. She has three dogs and a cat of her own but enjoys spending time breeding and raising her Holland Lop rabbits. Regeina can not wait to meet you and your pets.
You like doing what??? : Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, helping out her daughter with 4H projects at the St. Joseph county fair, and occasionally will go on a ghost hunt.
Laura Blair, RVT
Laura is the head registered technician at Lincolnway. She has been with the clinic for about 5 1/2 years. She received her RVT degree at Brown Mackie College. She enjoys providing compassionate care to all the patients at Lincolnway. She has three young children including a set of fraternal twins. She has one furry child as well named Smokey. Come in today to meet Laura!
Interestes: She has a special interest for comic books, Harry Potter and anything superhero related. Her dream would be to attend Comic-Con some day.
Tiffnay has been a part-time veterianry assistant at Lincolnway for about thirteen years. She enjoys helping cats and dogs and interacting with their owners. She spends her time outside of work with her three young human children and her Lab Morgan and two cats Doobie and Ozzy. Tiffany is excited to assist with your pets needs!
Hobby: She enjoys gardening and being outside as much as possible.
Sharon joined our team in June 2015. She will welcome you with a smile and will be glad to assist you as one of our customer care specialists. When she is not with her Lincolnway family, she enjoys spending time with her three children and two grandchildren. Come in and meet her she will be glad to assist you and your furry friend today!
Hobbies: Her favorite past times involve warm weather activities. She enjoys canoeing at Potato Creek and taking in the sun at Silver Beach in Michigan.
Charlotte joined our team in May 2017 as a customer care specialist and always has a smile on her face. She moved here from Anchorage Alaska because she wanted to make Mishawaka Indiana her home.
Charlotte has 2 border collie mixes and a Turkish Van cat. She loves spending time with family & friends and watching her favorite NFL team the Houston Texans.
Sandy graduated from Brown Mackie in 2015 and loves to care for animals. You may see sandy's smiling face assisting in the exam rooms. Sandy has many pets which include a dog (tyson), a cat (juliet), a bearded dragon (dimon) and two turtles (hercules & venus). In her free time Sandy loves spending time with her children.
Shirley Yates, RVT
She is a registered veterinary technician here at Lincolnway Veterinary Clnic. She received her Associates Degree in Animal Science from Brown Mackie College in 2011. She worked at Lincolnway in 2011 for about a year until her husband, who is in the Army returned home from serving a tour in Afganistan. She then moved down to Fort Stewart, Georgia, where he was stationed, to be a stay at home mom while her husband finished his contract.
She is now happy to have returned working as a a veterinary technician at Lincolnway. Her special interests include laboratory diagnostics especially checking fecals. So come in and have your pet's stool checked today!
Fun Fact: She is a secret Thomas the Train fan and loves to play with him with her son.
Katrina joined our team in February of 2016 as a customer care specialist. Katrina moved here from Chicago in June of 2016. She enjoys spending time with her husband and her two cats grayson & princess. She loves meeting our clients and their furry children and is sure to great you with a warm smile and friendly hello.
Fun Fact : Katrina loves to sing karaoke.
Mackenzie joined our team in March of 2016. She is a recent graduate from Brown Mackie College.
Mackenzie has a great love for animals and you may see her assisting in the exam rooms or she may be working behind the scenes taking care of our hospitalized patients.
Mackenzie enjoys Notre Dame football, riding her horse cooper and hanging out with family and friends.
Briana joined our team in May of 2017. She is a native of the Laporte area. She obtained a bachelor's degree from Ball State in 2015 and is currently in veterinary technician school with Penn Foster. She loves hiking and camping with her dog jax, she also has two cats, willow and crash.
He is a 3 year old domestic shorthair. The Lincolnway Veterinary Staff was fostering him and we fell in love with him and decided to keep him. He loves to play tag and steal any chair you leave unattended. His favorite treat are chicken flavored greenies.
Our newest addition to Lincolnway! Rocky is a 1 1/2 year old domestic shorthair who was found outside the veterinary clinic by Regeina. He was nursed back to health and George got along well with him so we decided to keep him. He loves to spend time on top of his cat tree tower and snacking on the occasional cat nip. We have not found anything he does not like to eat including veggies.
